Stopped in here to meet a friend for a weekday lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The space, service and food were all excellent. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese and Gruyère burger! 🍔

Monday is Burger night and they do a great job of it. Burgers, fries and Onion rings all excellent. We have gone on regular evenings as well and the food is better than most in the area an eclectic mix of small plates and sharable dishes
We tried brunch here for the first time because the menu looked good , and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with nice pillows and comfortable seats. The menu for brunch had so many good options I changed my mind 3 times, but was talked into the Gruyère burger with an egg on it. It ended up being one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were good too. Everyone was very happy with their meals . The drinks were good and the tres leches bread pudding was out of this world. Our waitress was amazing she was helpful and extremely nice. Overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back to try some other options on the menu.
Swallow has become our go to spot, and without fail, every time we eat here, the food is outstanding. Honestly, I don’t even know where to start because everything is phenomenal. In my opinion, this is the best place to eat on Long Island. They specialize in small plates, and one of the things I love most is that they switch up the menu often, so there’s always something new to try. My absolute favorite is the mushroom toast it’s perfection. Today, we had the roasted cauliflower, and it was bomb. Their mussels are incredible, and the clams with linguine were exquisite. The cocktails are always on point, and the service is wonderful every single time. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience with consistently top notch food, Swallow is the place to go!

Updated review 3 years later. Really happy with our meal last night. From the updated decor to the great service, but most of all the food was significantly better than our previous visit. Started off with the mushroom toast, which I could have eaten and entire tub full of. yum. Chicken tostadas were next - really well seasoned, portioned, and really flavorful. Burger (not pictured) was last. Devoured. What I really enjoyed was being able to simultaneously taste the meat (really well seasoned) and the toppings (fantastically paired - can't go wrong with onions and cheese). Our server was really friendly, attentive, and played a major role in the updated ratings.
My favorite restaurant hands down!!! The vibes are cozy and hip with a warm atmosphere and exceptional service Every meal is prepared with such detail and consideration The flavors are 10x better than you can imagine The dishes are unique and delicious You have to try the mushroom toast and mac and cheese The attention to details when it comes to food, drinks, and deserts will blow you away! You can tell they truly understand flavor !!
Visiting from out of town - this place was incredible! The food, atmosphere/vibes, the staff were so fun and kind. We had a wonderful meal and overall great experience. The decor is very cute! I suggest getting a lot of things to share with the table, it is the best way to enjoy the menu I think! I am sorry to say I have zero food pics as we ate so fast I didn't grab any! It was so good! Special kudos to the steak tokyo, all of the tacos, the mussels!!, the short rib and the Cesar salad!
